Fairy Lights: My favorite way to hang fairy lights is to swing them across my ceiling. It’s literally the most relaxing thing ever! I like doing so on top of my bed so it feels really cozy!

Drawings/Artwork: It could be something you drew,a drawing a sibling made you or maybe something your friends drew. They’re much more special and sentimental than posters. Plus they add a personal touch to your bedroom.

Messy/Undone Bed: You can still make your bed and I highly recommend it so it makes your room look cleaner but you could get another blanket such as a throw blanket and make it look messy and undone like you just sat or lied down on it. Every time I don’t make my bed I think it looks really cozy and it actually makes a BIG difference in your room’s look!

Trophies/Certificates/Medals: You could hang your medals and certificates on your wall and get a nice wall shelf to show off your trophies and other accomplishments!

Glow in the dark decals: You can find these star decals for super cheap at a dollarstore or a similar store if you don’t live in Canada.You could stick some of them on your ceiling and it’d look really cool!

Vintage Things: Anything vintage really makes your room look even more like a tumblr room. It could be old poster,old soda bottles, old books or just random vintage pieces! Look at Aria Montgomery’s room on PLL. It has a couple of vintage items and it looks really cute!

(this room is full out vintage and isn’t really a tumblr room. Just take a look at some of the pieces and don’t go too over the top with the vintage stuff or your room will look like your grandmother’s!(:  )

Books: They can be recent ones but those old vintage ones you can find at thrift stores add much more of a vintage effect that looks really cool in a hipster room! (take Aria’s room as an example of what I mean!)

Old Mirror: This is as convenient as it is pretty! It makes your room look more girly and allows you to apply makeup in front of it. You could get one attached to a desk or a separate one that you could just hang on your wall. I found a really cute separate mirror similar to this at Walmart for about 20$.

Blanket Forts: These are found everywhere on tumblr and I think they’re really cute! If you make a really steady and pretty one you could keep it in your room. I really like the one in this picture! You could make a fort on top of your bed or anywhere else. For some people including me, that have not yet mastered the art of making a blanket for without it looking like a blind cat made it, then you really don’t have to do this since not many tumblr rooms have one in most cases!

Thanks to all the people who followed,liked and reblogged my “How to get a tumblr room” posts. I hope it was as good as the other ones and if it wasn’t then I’m sorry! I really had a hard time making this one since I already had posted all of my ideas! Also, I hope you know how hard I worked on this and all the other “How to get a tumblr room” and I would really appreciate if you left credit if you plan on taking a part of this. If you want a part four later I’m already getting ready and writing down some ideas. Keep sending me anons and questions about your rooms since I love reading and responding to them!
